Election Hex CartogramTPL
Election Night Newspaper: newsprint, headline serif and the classic red - a fictional county votes on a new rail line, and 64 equal-area hexagons show who wanted it and why.

§Election Night Newspaper
Slides wipe in like a page being set and fade out (df$.anim, declared on the deck); red curtains open the data and the ending. One deck-level chart (df$.shadcn.chart.deck): 64 hexagons re-colour from winner to margin, fly into a scatter of distance-to-the-line against Yes share, then merge into three band averages (universalTransition by group). Use ← / → inside the deck.
Design study adapted from echarts-feat 25-election-hex-cartogram (Election Night Newspaper) - a fictional county and synthetic votes.
